This upbeat, inspirational song comes from the soundtrack of The Croods, an animated feature by Dreamworks Animation, that was released in cinemas on March 22, 2013. It’s composed by Alan Silvestri and sung by Owl City and Yuna, who is Malaysian (like me!)

I Dreamed A Dream – Les Miserables

This beautiful, heart-rending song is sung by Anne Hathaway as Fantine in the 2012 musical drama film, Les Miserables. The film is based upon the well-loved and long-running musical by Alain Boubil and Claude-Michel Schonberg, which in turn, is based upon the 1862 French novel by Victor Hugo. The story revolves around Jean Valjean, a former prisoner who becomes mayor of a town in France. Valjean agrees to take care of Cosette, the illegitimate daughter of Fantine, and must avoid being captured again by Javert, a police inspector who used to be a prison guard.


I created and performed 2 versions – one full, with the recitative at the beginning, and the other an easier version.

Written by Adele Adkins and Paul Epworth, Skyfall is the theme song of the latest (2012) James Bond movie. Adele’s sultry and expressive voice captures the essence of the 007 style and elegance, and I hope my transcription and performance manage to achieve some of that as well. Taylor Swift – Safe and Sound

This beautiful and haunting song was written and sung by Taylor Swift for the soundtrack of Hunger Games, a 2012 movie based upon the book by Suzanne Collins. My music score includes lyrics, if any of you likes to sing 🙂 I love the guitar accompaniment and harmony provided by the talented duo, The Civil Wars, so I’ve tried to transcribe my score as close to the original as possible. English sheet music removed :(

Dear Girls and Guys,

So sorry to have to inform you that as of yesterday, 5th August 2014, many of my music sheets of English Songs have had to be removed from this website. This is due to copyright claims by the NMPA (National Music Publishers’ Association) on behalf of its members. I’m sad to have to stop sharing them, as I know that many have seen their interest in playing music  increase with my free sheets. But legal orders have to be complied with…

I hope to continue making covers and tutorials on YouTube at least, as a means to share my joy in music (and “teach the world to play”).
