I Dreamed A Dream – Les Miserables

This beautiful, heart-rending song is sung by Anne Hathaway as Fantine in the 2012 musical drama film, Les Miserables. The film is based upon the well-loved and long-running musical by Alain Boubil and Claude-Michel Schonberg, which in turn, is based upon the 1862 French novel by Victor Hugo. The story revolves around Jean Valjean, a former prisoner who becomes mayor of a town in France. Valjean agrees to take care of Cosette, the illegitimate daughter of Fantine, and must avoid being captured again by Javert, a police inspector who used to be a prison guard.

I created and performed 2 versions – one full, with the recitative at the beginning, and the other an easier version.

    1. Sorry…I don’t make minus-ones. They are very different from the covers I do, and I don’t have double the time to do them haha! As a master of fact, I can’t even manage one cover per week 😦
