Fan Mail

I love receiving and responding to fan mail and since putting up my first cover in July 2012, have received many which i have treasured and have been much encouraged by them. I thank you all so very much for your praise, appreciation, suggestions, requests and support.

I thought it would be nice to share some of my favourite emails and comments here on the website. Of course I’ll keep all names anonymous, unless I’m given specific permission to reveal them. If you see your comment here and would rather it remain between the two of us, please let me know… I would totally understand and remove it without hesitation ok?

    I love how you upload your youtube videos in such a way that people can hear how the entire piece sounds like and then watch the tutorials after that to learn them. Through your youtube channel, tutorials are really easy to access! I am currently learning Phtograph by Ed Sheeran and I absolutely love your arrangement of that song! I love how you keep the music sheets free as it makes it much easier for many of us to access them and I totally admire your work!

    I would like to make a humble request to ask you if you could make an arrangement and piano sheets for the song Leave by Park Bo Young which is the OST for the drama Oh My Ghostess! It is a very recent korean drama that gained very high ratings and I absolutely love the drama and I especially love the OST song! It is really difficult to find the piano sheet for the song and I am sure that many others, including me, would be extremely grateful with you could help us! Thank you so much!

    thank you very much for the easy tutorial of photograph…i love it, and it was great that i could learn it at 60% of speed. Im ready for 100% now of the easy tutorial, can you make that accessible to me , please ?

      2. I can send you the midi file if you email me at joycemusic1@gmail.com
        If you download Synthesia onto a phone or tablet (like iPad) and run the midi file, you’ll get the tutorial at whatever speed you need. Or, if you’re watching the YouTube tutorial on a laptop, you can actually change the speed by clicking on the Setting icon (the round gear on the right bottom corner of the video).

  8. Hi !! Thank you so much for the sheet !! When I’m looking for a sheet, I always check your website first and I always find what I was looking for. Your arrangement are just perfect ! I have stopped piano lessons this year and your website helps me to continue playing. I have a little request : I hear a song called A drop in the ocean by Ron Pope and I just love it. I would like to play it but I can’t find a good arrangement and I’m very very bad at playing it by ear. So I know you’ve got a lot of work, but if someday you have time, can you do an arrangement ?? Please ?

    Recently came across a song that I think would make an excellent piano arrangement song,
    “For the Widows in Paradise” by Sufjan Stevens. I know its kind of old though.

    Never the less, your arrangements are fantastic and I love learning them!

    1. Am glad that you enjoy my arrangements. I’m afraid I don’t usually cover old songs. It takes me many hours (often about 5 days) to make one cover, because of the sheets. So I prefer to choose something current and popular that will benefit the most viewers. Hope you understand. Thanks for your support and encouragement.
