Billie Eilish’s Come Out And Play is a wistful little song that was written for Apple’s 2018 holiday ad campaign, “Holiday – Share Your Gifts”. The ad features a young woman who is creative but is too afraid to share her creativity to the world. One day, her dog bursts open her window, letting in the cold winter wind, which blows all her sheets of writings down into the bustling city below. She frantically tries to retrieve her previously hidden creations, but is amazed to find passers-by enjoying them. Sweet song and ad for the holidays…and a reminder for us, to share the gifts we have inside. 🙂

“When the party’s over” is a single off of Billie Eilish’s debut album. It’s a delicate, pensive, rather mournful song about seeking some distance in a relationship, sung in Billie’s soulful, ethereal voice. Love the (slightly) brighter chorus 🙂 For my cover, I’ve combined a synth pad with my grand piano, for the dreamy sustained chords and vocals. Let me know if you guys like it, ok?
