I love receiving and responding to fan mail and since putting up my first cover in July 2012, have received many which i have treasured and have been much encouraged by them. I thank you all so very much for your praise, appreciation, suggestions, requests and support.
I thought it would be nice to share some of my favourite emails and comments here on the website. Of course I’ll keep all names anonymous, unless I’m given specific permission to reveal them. I’ve been good, how about you? I’ve been quite busy lately, I’m going to release a cover (What do you want me to do) from the Heartstrings OST soon, and I’m still working on “Don’t Forget Me” since I kind of want to merge your version and “Pianoheart’s” version. 🙂

I haven’t added to this page in quite a while, but I just had to share this very uplifting comment that was posted onto my cover of Skyrim – From Past To Present:
“Joyce, this is beautiful to listen to, but most importantly, how you play is also inspiring! You can spot a talented pianist by the way they put their emotion into the music, and I can hear that in this song. You have been blessed with such a gift!”
I replied with this, ” thank you so much! Your uplifting comment caused me to watch my video again (I haven’t done so in a while). Hearing the beautiful music and remembering how much I loved it while playing it brings tears to my eyes and a smile to my lips. I’m reminded again why I started this one year ago…I found a way to give back to the world a measure of this gift I know I’ve been given. Hi, Thank you for the music sheets. I really like K-pop, but then it’s so hard to find the music sheets of some songs. Is it possibe for you to post the music sheets for “Because I Miss You” by Jung Yong Hwa, “Without Words” by Park Shin Hye and “What Should I Do” by Jang Geun Suk. If you can, thank you very much! These songs have been in my favorite drama lists since ever.

Yea, I know it’s really hard to find sheets for Kpop songs, because there are so few of us transcribers for it. I was introduced to Kpop through my daughter’s interest in playing Jgmb829’s transcriptions. He’s been really great to cover so many and give them away freely. I was inspired by his generosity to do the same. I try my best to do as many songs as I can. When I first began last year, I tried to do 2 per week. I was transcribing every free minute I had…and eventually, we had a family crisis because of that. 😦 I have since learnt to balance them better…put my family first. So I just can’t cover more than 1 song per week…and sometimes, not even that. I’ll check out those songs you mentioned, but I hope you’ll understand that I may never get to do them even if they are beautiful songs! Hugs!
