Hyorin (Sistar) – Driving Me Crazy (The Master’s Sun OST)

SISTAR member, Hyorin, sings this sad, but beautiful song from The Master’s Sun OST.  It was released on August 21, 2013, and quickly took the number one spot on music charts for 2 consecutive days.  It was a pleasure to transcribe, but because of the 5 flats in the key-signature, took me a total of one and half hours of recording to get one copy with (almost) no mistakes :p Hope you’ll enjoy it 🙂

Block B – Be The Light – Piano Sheets

In late September 2013, Block B pre-released their MV of Be The Light, from their comeback mini-album that is scheduled to come out today, 2nd October.  Member Zico composed, arranged, wrote the lyrics and produced this song.

I’ve kinda ‘balladised’ this because…well because it sounded right 🙂 Hope you like my version.

SHINee – Selene 6.23

In August 2013, SHINee released their repackaged 3rd album combining all 3 chapters, The Misconceptions of You, The Misconceptions of Me and 2 new songs (Selene 6.23 and Better Off) under The Misconceptions of Us. The sad lyrics of Selene 6.23, about a loved one being unreacheable. were written by SHINee member Jonghyun.

This transcription took me ages to complete and ages to practise to (almost) perfection, because of the complex accompaniment. It’s very challenging at the original speed 😛 I thought about making a simpler version, but it didn’t sound anywhere near as nice, so here it is, the full (and only) version. Hope you’ll like it…and hope some of you will take the challenge to play it 🙂

Lee Seung Chul – My Love

Lee Seung Chul released his 11th album on the 18th of June 2013, after a period of 4 years. The MV for this upbeat love song shows him and a group of people helping a 30-year-old man surprise his girlfriend with a wonderful proposal at a restaurant 🙂 So sweet!

INFINITE – Mom (from Destiny album)

This is my first cover of a song by INFINTE. Their mini-album, Destiny, was released on 16th July 2013. There are only 4 songs on it, and of course, I love the ballad 🙂 Dedicated to Moms everywhere, the beautiful lyrics are supported by the sweet melody (and lovely chords). The original song is in Dbmajor (5 flats plus a bunch of double flats!) so I’ve included sheets for a Transposed version. As usual, I’m playing the original key because it sounds better :-).
