Locked Away – R.City and Adam Levine

Much requested by my viewers/fans, this catchy song was released many months ago in June 2015. It’s pretty challenging to play, being in Db major (5 flats) and having a syncopated left hand accompaniment. Go ahead and simplify it by reducing the number of notes in the left hand, and only playing the top notes in the right (the melody).

Written by Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter and Bieber, the song was released on October 22, 2015, as the second single from the album. This powerful song about a break-up is the first single off Adele’s upcoming album, 25. It was just released a few days ago, on October 23, 2015, and the MV has already garnered more than 70 million views!

Writing’s On The Wall – Sam Smith (Spectre – James Bond 007)

Sam Smith’s latest single, Writing’s On The Wall, is the theme song for the upcoming 007 movie, Spectre. The video was just released on 5th October 2015, which has been designated Global James Bond Day (ie. the anniversary of the day Dr. No hit theaters). The movie is due to be released on 6th November 2015.

I made 2 versions of my cover – the original (which is closer to the soundtrack) and an Easier Version. Hope you’ll enjoy listening to and learning them.
